It was hard to imagine George Bush ever dropping that much, but the man was hitting 25%.

Legit don’t think there’s anything Trump could do to drop below like 39-40% approval.

He could crash the economy AND have the military shooting people in the streets and he’d still poll at like 39.9% lol

For the normal people in the room, you should probably know this shit is a hit with neo-Nazis. The 14-year old Groyper you know has more space in his head for circumcision conspiracies (all of which blame the Jews) than you have space in your head for your cousins' first names.

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

probably realized that doing slightly spicier versions of what US newspapers will do gets them clicks

"Open secrets" aren't necessarily 100% factual but the intra-dem open secrets must be fucking wild

i'm all for stoning adulterers who work in the new york times building, as a kind of pilot program, see how the politics goes

you don't even have to be an especially woke pope (or person generally) to think this is all fucked up and bullshit

We went through this in trump i without any resolution, but that they lie constantly is a headline story. I mean should be

THE DISCOURSE of 2022 didn't make any sense until i realized everyone had giant piles of SBF bucks

The Katie Porter thing reminds me of Sam Bankman Fried going to prison.

Yeah of course he should go to prison. Fuck him. But he was just a scapegoat for the real dirt.

Still waiting for the Justice Department to bring those campaign finance charges they mysteriously dropped.

can we get labour down to #4 just for laughs

You wouldn't know it from The Discourse but the "economic inactivity rate" is near historic lows

Really it is hard to see as much other than "let the city center spoons force the council to let them stay open later" for actual pubs
eschatonblog.com
my bet would be that you could create more pockets of "night life" in satellite areas, potentially, instead of everybody heading to "the city" if they want a big friday out. but the random local also has staffing (and transport) issues to deal with. hard to see it as a big benefit most places
eschatonblog.com
late night places pretty much confined to city centers

Definitely a "help the winners" policy. For most pubs the issue is "why aren't more people here at 730 on a wednesday"
