Who is judging the Exposing Britain's Social Evils Prize? That’s right, it’s Amber Rudd: the woman all the hacks were right behind when she got fired for facilitating the Windrush Scandal, because that was PM Theresa May’s fault, then there was no effort to make Theresa May pay for it.

The tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old mother fatally shot by ICE, shows that ICE can’t be reformed and must be abolished.

I’ll be introducing the Abolish ICE Act as a step toward justice, accountability, and humanity in our immigration policy.

Time to melt ICE.

The position of this administration is that if a woman makes a man feel angry or embarrassed, he can kill you. Period.

Literally the first news outlet I've seen directly quoting her wife. Even the NPR piece on Renee Good that aired this morning made no mention of Becca Good whatsoever.

DHS official McLaughlin blatantly lies about Renee Good: "The deceased had been following our law enforcement throughout the day, stalking them. At the time of the incident, our law enforcement was outside their vehicle trying to get their vehicle out of the snow when she started harassing them."

The problem with asking Democrats to abolish ICE is not that they can’t so it’s pointless; it’s that they don’t want to and there are plenty of people who would rather not expose that.

It’d help people to understand that Luke isn’t sharing his deep insights on electoral strategy, here. He’s showing you his suicide vest and explaining to the readers that unless we all sit down and do as we’re told, then everyone is going to have a real explodey kind of morning.

Lost in all of this is the fact that this ICE surge into Minneapolis was so agents could target child care centers in a followup to MAGA influencers claiming all of them are Somali fraud operations

There's no quote from Lia's father or friends saying, "she was a casualty of the argument over transgender women competing in women’s sports."

Those are the writer's words. Her friends and family say she was terrorized by hate, harrassment, and increasing persecution by the Trump administration.

There are no rules, they don’t actually care about respect, decorum, bipartisanship or debate, and only pretend to do so to browbeat you into submission. Nothing is going to change until more people realise that and respond accordingly; including to the media and politicians who have failed them.

Keir Starmer's spokesman says X limiting deep fake images to paid users "simply turns a feature that allows the creation of unlawful images into a premium service. It's not a solution.. it's insulting the victims of misogyny and sexual violence."

Still won't commit to a ban or to stop posting there

Grok has not "turned off" its CSAM generator for anyone - it has simply put it behind a paywall.
Stop uncritically repeating the narratives of tech companies.

Prime example is Margaret Hodge MP, who spent years roaring into cameras about the hideous political bullying and hate that she was subjected to, and then finally produced a dossier of… anonymous Twitter dorks calling her an asshole, a thing that happens to footballers and video game actors.
Honestly think it’s more that she’s the type of person who noisily Doesn’t Take Shit From Anyone, a phrase that in practice means “I hold terrifyingly intense grudges if subjected to any slight or disrespect, and I scream at waitresses who get my order wrong”.

A lot of our politicians are increasingly Very Online Weirdos and I often wonder how they sound to the majority of voters who are not Very Online Weirdos.
The thing about any UK Twitter/X ban is that our political class are addicted to it. McSweeney bases his entire ideology on what weirdos on there are saying, Farage uses it because it boosts his reach and its where Kemi Badenoch finds all her favourite conspiracy theories.

Hello Tim Cook I worked at Tumblr when you gave us 48 hours to get rid of all the consenting, adult boobs. Up all night at your whim, out of the blue. But you're still cool with Twitter and its CSAM and revenge porn and whatever the fuck this is? Why do you even HAVE guidelines?
Previously, several of these companies, like Apple, IBM, and Disney, have paused advertising on X in response to antisemitic content. But antisemitism on X never slowed, sexual abuse imagery increased, and all of these companies quietly resumed advertising anyways.

Why isn't there a bigger Grok boycott?
Advertisers, politicians, and investors are still all-in on X, despite a sexual abuse crisis.

And yet: It didn’t air on the actual show tonight. CBS did post it to YouTube—and it has nearly 800k views already youtu.be/6ywLEESFDu0?...
