This may be correct! The Fall covered “1969” live a few times and I thought the Feelies did as well, but I can’t find a recording.

We do also have two cases of songs The Feelies covered (“Egyptian Reggae” and “I Wanna Be Your Dog”) having riffs swiped for Fall tunes (“2x4” and “Elves.”)
