Not just by the admin against their... Everyone they don't like, but by the people that voted for them in the first place. And the people who want them in power because, surprise, they are weak and compromised.
I do think the Trump admin has laid bear the cruel and humiliating fact that deep personal insecurity is a weakness in Americans that is to be exploited ruthlessly.
