I'm playing the new Shinobi. It's gorgeous.

That being said, after playing both Ninja Gaiden and Silksong this summer, movement in Shinobi feels like I'm walking through mud.

Combat's also a bit too easy for my taste? Button-mash and thing dies. Cool.

After 60+ hours and 86% completion/reaching the true ending, my best advice for anyone in Silksong is to *slooooow down*.

Even in boss fights, just slowing down and not being so aggressive can help a ton.

I'll just note that the first Assassin's Creed game was set during the Crusades and made in the years after 9/11 during a couple U.S.-led wars in the Middle East.

My statement on the two year anniversary of October 7, 2023.

“Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities.

In the aftermath of that day, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government launched a genocidal war: adeath toll that now far exceeds 67,000; with the Israeli military bombing homes, hospitals, and schools into rubble.
