The SS symbol isn't pointy on the top and bottom like these and the angles are different, I think any comparison is big stretch. (And I'm a Jewish descendant of survivors and tend to be sensitive to these matters)

Your bio would lead me to believe that you are knowledgeable enough to understand that Judaism and Christianity are incredibly different, and also that Judaism today looks nothing like what Judaism looked like when Jesus was supposedly alive, so you must be a troll.

A Statement from NPR on the Pentagon's Press
Policy
From NPR Editor in Chief Thomas Evans:
NPR will never be party to limitations on the independence of the press and the objective, fact-based reporting of our journalists. We will not sign the Administration's restrictive policy that asks reporters to undermine their commitment of providing trustworthy, independent journalism to the American public.

The new policy threatens that commitment by giving the Administration final say over what can and cannot be reported about our military and its actions. The role of a free press is to remain objective and share information not subject to influence. If reporting about the American military is pre-approved by the military, the public is not getting real reporting — it is getting only what officials want the public to see.
We urge the Pentagon and the Administration to uphold freedom of the press and the American people's right to know what is done in their name.

FYI for all dog owners reading this: proof of current rabies vaccination is required at ALL New York State Parks.

Also be aware that if your dog bites someone in NY and you cannot provide proof of current rabies vaccination, your dog will be euthanized in order to test for rabies.

That's nice in theory, but unfortunately if you're a young person who doesn't know these books exist and they are not present in your library, then there's no way for you to know to seek those books out.

It's not just about saying "you're not allowed" it's about making them invisible.

15+ years ago the superintendent of the vocational high school I worked at said at a meeting "I need you all to remember we are a business first." Less than a year later I left teaching. I think I'd have gotten fired by now for my vehement objections to AI if I was still working in education.

That first image is either a different dog or more likely an AI image. (look at the coloring right around the dog's nose; it's different than the other three pictures. Plus those water droplets are suspect.)

I'm not blaming the bot, just letting folks know.
