Im back, mostly sorta kinda. Today I went for a walk and snuck into an old out of use cemetery. It was pretty but also sad to see all the abandoned broken gravestones. Like a place lost in time. Maybe I should go back and take them flowers
Perhaps you prefer a taste of rhe mexican poppy. You'll have to get it yourself since we here at our fine establisment wont touch it for reasons of "ow, oh god, OH GOD OUCH WHY IS IT SO THORNY OW!"
We appreciate your understanding
Perhaps a flower from the dodo tree imstead
May I interest you in a sip of mystery plant water mayhaps?

From @jungle_doctor on instagram who has asked for it to be shared. Please watch this. Its important. Fish are literally drowning while all the news is just about american politics. This is an ecological disaster and could be the begining of the end of marine life.
Everytime I watch the wind moving through the trees it feels like I'm seeing it for the first time and it makes me so happy that it almost hurts. There is so much light in the world if you just seek it out.

In 2025 talking about the environmental devastation we have caused is still controversial.
It still goes ignored. I use a shitty paper straw and pay extra to avoid plastic containers while some asshole takes another private jet trip for funsies. There is no light at the end of this tunnel.
Spring makes me sad a little bit. I'm so excited to see the flowers bloom but its bittersweet. It feels like there is never enough time to appreciate them. They just barely bloom amd then the season ends and they wilt away again. I wish they would stay forever
New leaves are always so vibrant
Searsia Pendulina also known as the wit karee is a tree native to South Africa. It produces dark almost black berries the size of cherries that also have a similar taste, they make a great porridge
Happy to have a dedicated place to share my plant spam. There are so many wonderful things outside #dandelion

Those who have been here a while know that I'm obsessed with weeds and invasive species specifically. From my black nightshade to my mexican limelight and chinaberry. Here is another favorite of mine, the moth catcher vine.
