Yoongi turns toward him, smiling like he knows his thoughts. If he would just say something. Got you, dumbass, or quit talking shit and go to sleep, or something. But he smiles.
"What the fuck, man."
Yoongi laughs then. More of a snort. More disdain than amusement. "You said you wanted to fuck. I thought you were serious, but I guess you were talking out your ass."

Just this week a student essay about a novel I assigned for a college-level lit class described the book as “written for teens” based on exactly these characteristics. My head exploded.

Just bc a book contains a protagonist between 10 and 30, especially a female protagnoist, doesn't mean it's YA. Just bc the book is written by a woman (or someone you incorrectly assume is a woman), doesn't make it YA. Just bc a book is fun, written colloquially, or has romance doesn't make it YA.
