it wasn't even a mood thing I was just stomping my way home with my single beautiful can of green beans and realized I knew what needed to happen next in my wip. apparently I need to take more meandering walks to get those creative juices flowing

You can manually type something visible/larger at the end of each section, so when you view the entire manuscript there will be a visible text marker at the bottom of each section right before the dashed line. But I don't believe there's a way to change the dashed line format of the section break.

you can always add in a text marker at the beginning or end of each individual section, but usually (in my experience) if you click to view an entire folder or manuscript, as long as you're in the 'scrivenings' view it should automatically add a dashed line between each individual document
