Classic soundtrack producer. You may know me from such soundtrack albums as "Star Trek: The Original Series Soundtrack Collection," "Moonraker," and "Total Recall." This is my personal page where I'll share what interests me. he/him/his

There seems to be some misunderstandings about the recent James Bond expanded albums coming from @lalalandrecords.bsky.social so I wrote up this response. If you like it, feel free to let your friends know. A lot of this can also apply to other expanded albums I've produced.

Thanks to everyone for your support. Producing these albums is a privilege and responsibility none of us take lying down. I do wonder if the messaging on these releases is clear. Having worked on 10 of these Bond albums, I figured by now people would understand the intent, but that doesn't seem to be the case. With the exception of "Goldfinger" (for which no additional material can be found) all of these albums have been expanded beyond the original releases and even previous expanded releases. I thought that was obvious, but even in this thread and elsewhere, as soon as the Variety article broke with news of a forthcoming remastered OHMSS album, posts started appearing questioning the use of the word "remastered" and assuming it was only going to be one disc. The goal has always been to present the score, top to bottom, starting with the gun barrel cue all the way to the end of the movie, with film takes/performances intact. Starting with "Live And Let Die" and "Octopussy" we've begun including the original soundtrack albums too, preserving the unique takes and cuts from those releases. Essentially each CD collection is two programs, the film score and the soundtrack album. We also include additional tracks like extra source cues or alternate versions. Our goal is to get listeners as much James Bond music as possible in the best quality.

Surprisingly, I'm not upset about the Phillies. I made peace after game two.

I still haven't forgiven the chirping smoke detector that woke me up at this place.

Was it at the AMMI? I think they showed it in 2002. That was the first time I saw it in 70mm.

Hopefully the Dodgers next opponent studied how the Phillies handled Ohtani in the NLDS. They completely neutralized him.

I'm sure the Phillies subreddit is taking this well
