Assuming an average of 22 minutes an episode/one did nothing but sleep (8 hours) and watch "The Simpsons," it'd take a bit over 18 days *nonstop* to watch the entire show's run---or more vacation time than most people have. Yeesh. Talk about quantity over quality?

The Tubi/WB news reminds me I started my own media server in part out of annoyance about Zaslav's mistreatment of cartoons on HBO Max/in general. (Again, glad the WB catalog has a home, but also hope Netflix's an improvement as owners.) Streaming services' direction since then has "helped"...

Looking at WordPress plugins for social share/follow buttons reminds me why I instead put a text-based list of links as a blog sidebar item.

"Mastodon or Bluesky buttons? Nah. How about Foursquare instead? Github? Something nobody but Russian speakers use?"
