Ha! Had to go look up dance belts. I suspect the issue wasn’t “bulge” so much as a very distinct shape to the protuberance. According to the always accurate Wikipedia, a purpose of the dance belt is “to present a smooth and inexplicit contour to onlookers, especially under bright stage lighting”.

I found a 19th century Cat Villain!

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

This is interesting because I thought dance belts sort of moved everything up front and center making a larger bulge. That whole anatomy is just unfortunately awkward. Poor design.

This sent me to the Wikipedia page of PBS shows from the past. I would wear so many of these!! Adult shows too!! Meeting of Minds was a huge favorite. Britcoms, cooking shows, and home shows were weekend staples.

T1 was an absolute clown car. This time there are some intelligences at work. Pure evil, for sure, but capable of making things happen. They gave the outline to the moron in chief at some point because he was leaking points from it during the campaign like a dollar store diaper.

I’d add a note that it is perfectly fine to buy the flytraps in little pots with plastic lids sold in places like Home Depot. Those are propagated via tissue culture and are great for learning to cultivate carnivorous plants.

And if you see a poacher, aim your kick a little higher than the shins.

I honestly think the actual brains behind this shitshow have decided that suborning the US military won’t work, and very likely plan to “request assistance” from other countries (like Russia) at some point. Disclaimer: My expertise is non existent in this arena besides 6 decades paying attention.
