Hi I’m Rachel (or “Nyc”). I am always trying new things. I don’t sell anything, so I don’t know where to go with this intro post. I just gather weird knowledge, and make whimsical doodles. ✨

I’m too north to know anything about gumbo 😰 - I have a friend who makes it once a year, and I eat whatever he makes!

I think one of the coolest things about being an artist is realizing you're always subconsciously skilling up just from observing the world. Anything you see with your eyes might be an insight into how to draw something later, it's so neat.
