I don't think it's possible to ban vpns. You could regulate the public and paid ones maybe but self hosted stuff is something you just cannot regulate.

When I made Otter I didn't know much about otters other than my nickname was Otter already cause of an unrelated thing. I liked the thought of having an animal trait or name.
