It's a bit of a shame since in almost any other aspect it's a better game than the first one.
Reached the ending of Hades II. Yeah, that's not great.

I understant why they went with that, since it's thematically in line with the first game, but it needed far more setup to work and even then, there were other paths they coould have taken (better ones, in my opinion)
I sure love professors that just read their slides to you and call it a "lesson"

Just send me a pdf my guy, and spare me 3 hours of boredom.

The new trigun trailer is literally a hollywood action teaser, complete with the echoey piano at the beginning. I had the exact same issue with the first season, despite enjoying the animation. Anime may be formulaic but it was its own formula, at least
I've reached the infamous Last Judge runback in Silksong and I have to say, it's not that bad.

I also beat the boss in 4 tries so maybe if you're forced to do it dozens of times it's worse but I found the platforming relatively straightforward.
I have two gripes:

- Make it so contact damage only does 1 mask instead of 2 on bosses.
- The RB+up to use tools is an unfortunate combination of keys. Actively discouraging me from using them.
Sliksong is absolutely wonderful man, I'm having a blast with it.

I hope they don't nerf the economy, the commentary with the beads and faith is great. All the cheeky humor is great. More bech traps please, and thank you Team Cherry.
One of the most surprising things, besides Hornet's mobility, is the ammount of dialogue.

Even unique one, that happens if you sequence break or encounter things out of order. Very detailed.

Great game so far
I manged to buy Silksong instantly. Been playing it for a while, will continue after dinner.

This is doubly true once the discourse escaped anime centric spheres and moved into videogame ones, where the Studio is even more of a sacred object.
My fear for this is that all of Kutsuna webgen stylings will be dismissed by the general public as "Ai" because they don't understand shit about animation and their source of info is misguided posts like this.
This is such a stupid and superficial post. Yes Qzil.la is a bad company with involvement in Ai bu they also produced plenty of animation that has no Ai in it.

This project is helmed by a talented team of industry veterans, and dismissing their work like this with no proof is a bad look.
I hadn't heard of Qzilla, the production company behind Crunchyroll's Sekiro anime. The trailer okay, but something felt kind of off. Looked them up on MAL and they didn't seem to have much motion in terms of the thirteen things its produced. Checked the company website and lo and behold.
Mauling hundreds of digital cadavers strangely relaxes me. I suppose it's the same effect idle games have on other people, it allows me to drone off.

So when the game asks me to replay missions (with cute narrative justifications too) I just do it. Sweet numbers going up.
I've been replaying Drakengard and I have to drop all pretenses: I love this game and not only in a pretentious "The story is interesting but the gameplay is bad" type of way.

I like the gameplay too. Clunky, grindy and underbaked as it may be I like it all the same.
Been reading The Gunslinger these past days, devouring it mostly.

Baffled to think people ever described this book as slow or boring. It is many things (weirdly horny, tense, weirdly funny) but none of those two.
I was far less cynical than other people when that first trailer dropped but man, this one is abysmal.
New trailer for "Scarlet" by Mamoru Hosoda.
In theaters on November 21 (Japan) / December 12 (USA).

You know, I never finished it. Got close to the end and had only a couple of things to do before starting the final set piece but i was so tired and done with it.
Firstly, you can clearly read the credits in the video description.
Or if you prefer english, you can find them here: anilist.co/anime/196482...

Kentaro Waki, the Director of Photography for this Special is very good at imitating cel era anime with digital tools. That's why it looks so authentic.

Everything in this Special, with the exception with the reel before the logo appears, is new animation.
Characters gesture toward Shingo Araki but do so through a very modern, very clean, lens.

Portraits have clear korean sensibilities while pixel art remains unabashedly "old". Art design recalls abstract paintings seemingly on purpose to evoke this timeless feeling.
I'm playing 9 Years of Shadows and this is clearly made by people who love old anime, chiefly Saint Seiya.

It's a mix that normally would not work, but it does. A contrast of old and new that could be jarring but isn't (much).

Volta animation did the intro/trailer
I have been playing The Great Ace Attorney and I must admit, rarely I've seen such an apt representation of the British.

Foppish, arrogant, openly racist yet somehow patting themselves on the back for being so openminded as to mingle with the lesser cultures.
I don't want to sound too negative. The show is fun, if you liked the first Season this is (mostly) just that.

I just wanted a bit more.
First New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT episode was... ok. Just fine.

I don't want to do a too extensive analysis, just found some things a bit underwhelming with respect to what Imaishi could have (and has already) done.
