Hey, you. I know that trans rights are human rights. You don't have to remind me. But what are you doing to defend/support those rights? Are you donating to civil liberty orgs near you? Helping keep spaces open for your local queers? Advocating for your trans fam? Or is it just words to you?

julia, i don't know you from any other tran here, but i do know that fear and not seeing the woman in the mirror. BUT i also know that there will never be the perfect time to come out, hell, there won't be an IDEAL time. it will happen, so it's better to come out than be outed. i promise that.

the switch was really helpful to me. the at will made me feel a bit off for a day or two, but the lower daily dose has been great because i'm always ready and i don't feel like ass.

it's because some seem to think that transmedicalism is just encouraging trans people who want trans medicine to get trans medicine or that encouraging people who want it to get it somehow lessens or degrades the experience of those trans people who don't want it.

i get that anger. it feels like you fucked yourself over by waiting and now things will come crashing apart. but, like others have said, it's not your fault. you didn't go out and blow your surgery fund gambling. it was taken from you. be angry, you have every right to, but not at yourself.

it is impossible to convey a nuanced opinion in a single numeric value. it does cheapen the review and distracts from the actual statements that the review is making. it is probably the most detrimental trend in entertainment journalism that has ever existed.
