Disabled voices are rarely heard in politics. I emailed her show on a whim. To my surprise, they invited me (a nobody) to speak about the ableism of politicians. She took a chance on me when no one else would. Joy deserved better. #DisabilitySky

I spent 10ish years in school 3 degrees. Now I'm a house husband, that spends a good part of the week sick. I wasted time and money I feel like a lot. Especially because now with my health I can't do the career I did all that for. But it isn't wasted, the knowledge I'd never want to give back.

Republicans did not offer a SINGLE idea to improve healthcare and no one is even asking them to. Kicking millions off Medicaid & raising prices & stripping services from ACA is NOT a healthcare plan. As for “get a job”: 30% of non union jobs don’t offer health insurance.
