I was watching season 7 last night and was super familiar with the episode and I didn't know how because I knew I had only ever seen it once before.

Then I remembered, when I was a teen it was impossible to get these seasons in the US for years, I went online and read the scripts over and over

The Cat in particular, and this starts in season 6, was a really fun character with his own motivations and is reduced to just piloting the ship and half his lines being "OK bud!" or "You got it buddy!" the other half being jokes about how dumb or vain he is. He acts more like a show dog than a cat!

All her material is "Ugh you guys are gross, I'm a girl and girls are like THIS". They play with social class differences a bit, but almost always just break everything down to gender in the end. I end up wanting her to leave not out of disliking her, but so she can escape to her better dimension

Watching Red Dwarf, the Kochanski seasons are so much worse than the rest. Cat is domesticated, Kryten gets petty, jealous and needy. Lister becomes more selfish and reckless. Only Rimmer gets positive character growth by leaving the show. Kochanski is ok but they don't know how to write her.

It also ensures their messages get marked as spam by carrier filters, and then they can't get messaging out.

I checked spam yesterday looking for a particular message that was supposed to have come, and there were hundreds and hundreds from Democrats over the last few months.

I was in high school in the last Clinton years, in a school about 40/40/20 black/white/other, and it was also super racist. Kids would say hideous things out in the open and the teachers main reaction would be to just roll their eyes and sigh.

Mind you this was Alabama.

I'm enjoying Cyberpunk 2077 but playing very slowly. I basically play a few hours between other big games. It's like a tv series where I watch a couple episodes a month.
