Tonight, the Harvest Moon rises: the full moon closest to the autumn equinox. 🌕

October’s full moon is also named the Hunter’s Moon, once marking a time to gather food for winter.

It will be the first of three supermoons this year, glowing bigger & brighter.

I'm a bit disappointed this year @drneilstone.bsky.social as the UK has decided that I can't have the #Covid vaccine. They've raised the age to 75 🤷. Those over 70 would have previously been high risk and furloughed (if still working) so what has changed?

This is extreme gardening.

At 55 feet high and 300 years old, it takes one gardener 10 weeks on a hydraulic cherry-picker to trim the hedges at Powis Castle, returning the yew hedges to their famous, cloud-like shapes.
