Are you saying that "Bigelow style" is something that we shouldn't research, or that this movie is Bigelow's version of "Don't Look Up"?

"That's James Smith, he makes our tools & horseshoes.

That's Tobias Cooper, he builds barrels for the ale that David Brewster makes.

Robert Fletcher makes arrows, & Alan Butcher slaughters & dresses livestock for our food."

"Who's that over there?"

"That's Danny"

"What does Danny do?"

"Ehh..."

"Weird ham monster with the voice of a haunted well makes up bullshit" would be a better headline.

LOVE The Sopranos, I couldn't take Bruce's emo phase seriously in The Batman though. I liked a lot of it, but RP was way too old to be an angsty teen, and it went on a bit too long for what it was - still enjoyed parts of it though.

I liked the Gotham show, that was quite fun!

The Penguin series is good as well, right? That seems right up my alley.

THE Suicide Squad was decent. I could re-watch it as a refresher though, my recollection isn't braw.

The new Superman has me torn. Kermode said it was alright, but I've been burned. I'll catch it on streaming I think, I don't have a season pass for the cinema.

I keep hearing good things, but I've dipped out of the Marvel and DC universes - I really did try to keep up, but it became overwhelming when I wasn't enjoying most or any of them any more.

Glad to hear good reviews and that I don't need to watch 10 movies and seven TV shows to enjoy it!

Oh, the Suicide Squad was alright. I'm not alone in not caring for the first, but the reboot(?) / sequel(?) was fun for what it was from what I remember - there may have been a few beers consumed prior to the cinema trip for that one.

Is the show good for people who don't really love or engage with the greater Superhero Cinema Universes? I liked the Daredevil and Punisher shows, and the Thor movie with Taika Waititi was good.

Behind the Bastards is the finest podcast I subscribe to. Never has anything be so educational and entertaining. If you have the opportunity, you should take a gander, pick any one of the bastards that you find interesting and listen to the episode(s) about them.

Then you'll be hooked for life.

this is a special episode for those of you who want to hear me critique Ben Shapiro's knowledge of Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Rudyard Kipling

New Behind the Bastards 📖

Robert and Cody Johnston sit down to read Ben Shapiro's latest non-fiction book, which seems to be based entirely on him not understanding how lions work.

(It's funny because I stole this character's design from an existing property rather than creating it by myself, but because I'm an actual human, the picture is my own interpretation of him, rather than a soulless facsimile.)

I did a Quint as well. He's my favourite.
A cartoonish illustration of the character Quint from the movie Jaws.

I love many sports. I like the more high-impact and high-velocity sports as a general rule, but I find that there's a lot of enjoyment in baseball. It's not popular here in Scotland, but it's a weirdly serene endeavour. It's *definitely* competitive, but it feels peaceful, even when I'm invested.
