Sorry, but no. You can't be spending much time around young people, especially those with disabilities and members of marginalised communities and say, "Hope is normal".
Hope is a rare fleeting ephemeral thing for them. Not at all the norm.

An entire generation has been robbed of hope. We HAVE to give that back before we can deal with anything else.

I wish the Green party would drop their new slogan of "Let's make hope normal again". Hope is nothing, it's not even an empty promise, it's a childish wish for something without lifting a finger to achieve it. It's like thoughts and prayers whenever there's an American mass shooting.

I won't be getting a flu jab this year after all because I missed my appointment (ADHD). There was no text or email reminder except the confirmation of the booking days before, and now, there's nothing available unless I drive ten miles to the next town.
