A thread on the Hegseth sexual assault allegations.

Today Mediaite published redacted copies of reports from the Monterey Police investigation into on a sexual assault reported by an anonymous survivor. The report, linked below, contains graphic descriptions of sexual assault. I will quote some …

How recently was she a registered Republican. As a Progressive I've got nothing in common with this creepy woman. Harping on the mess in Israel when we have big problems here seems disingenuous.

Cory Booker is forever Trash. Remember that one time Obama was like “hey wall street? Maybe consider that you have enough money and the mode of production is sufficiently rigged your favor for the time being?” & Booker was all “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Don't be divisively mean to my best friends asshole!”

"I think the Democratic base feels like there is a disconnect. We hear you, when you did your 25-hour speech, I was like go Cory, I love this, that is amazing.

And then there's a photo shoot with you with Benjamin Netanyahu, and I was just like, what in the actual fuck? It was heartbreaking."

directorial and executive power over collective action while reserving any plenary powers to the larger collectivity. Both can also operationalize structural benefits drawn from syndicalism, confederalism, sortition, democracy, and even mandarin-style merit-bureaucracy in very large organizations.

of the variations are designed to create an artificial limit on personal liability and these are not obviously applicable to the needs of revolutionary organizing. But two forms-the traditional corporation and the limited partnership-are worth taking a look at for their ability to distribute...

What I will say is that this may be an area where capitalist necessity may provide an adaptable model of social power distribution within an organization through the legal construct of the corporate person. A corporate business organization can take many different forms for different reasons. Many…

making provision for the need for direction by some entity constituted for that purpose to provide only the needed direction.

Having identified the problem to my own satisfaction, I confess I have not yet seen any solutions.

scale. Representative democracy fixes the scale problem but places too much weight on the ability of individuals to be fully responsible for passive electors’ delegated powr. What we need is a flexible, adaptable model power-structure that avoids the problem of concentrating authority while.…

Alternatives on offer are not much better. Marxist-Leninists are, as I write these words, attempting to enact so-called “democratic centralism” in the DSA in the hopes of either taking over or replacing the democratic party. Pirate democracy fixes the problem of leadership but not the problem of...

spent decades pretending to be an American Indian and accumulating academic & activist cred based on identitarian deference to standpoint epistemologymies. This irony illustrates how broken anarcho-radlib organizational theory is and how desperate we are for an alternative to our current practices…

anarchists have actually adopted a social norm that discourages any so-called “snitch-jacketing” or “cop-jacketing” to prevent everyone from turning on each other with every hallucination of suspicions. Ironically, the terms themselves seem to have originated from a professional provocateur who…

performing necessary labor to support the growth of the collective effort has more than a single person doing the work. The underlying anarchist ideology of organizations like Anonymous and effective organizers like Heather Marsh (similarly, David Graeber) is one of the more frustrating impediments to left organizing. The need to not be autocrats, but movements need self-acknowledged leaders to delegate tasks and…

My 2-year-old daughter has learned to eat crackers while jogging in order to keep the dog from trying to take them. She’s got a handful of Annie’s bunny graham crackers and she’s doing laps around the kitchen and dining room tables while he just trots along hopefully behind her.

I'm sorry, is the Trump Administration talking to a tech platform?

Is it...requesting content moderation?
Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.
