Gone fishing...it's been seven long years since the greatest gift God ever gave me passed away. My dad was an avid fisherman. This was his best catch. He was so happy that day. I filled up the blue cart with all types of fishing equipment. I like to think I helped!🎣

D.C. stands to lose more than $40 million in homeland security funding, starving programs aimed at responding to terrorist attacks and other emergencies, after the Trump administration moved to slash federal grant funding by 90 percent.

Trump pledged to make D.C. ‘safe and beautiful.’ His administration cut $40M in homeland security funds.

The Trump administration cuts to homeland security grants in D.C. and 11 states has been paused by a federal judge while they are being challenged in court.

A producer and editor for WGN-TV was violently forced to the ground this morning by two Border Patrol agents, before having her hands cuffed behind her back, during an ICE action in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Debbie Brockman has worked for the local television station since 2011.
