Time for a walk off home run and have a Canadian province named after you.
Okay. A proclamation to respect a person's choice to put pineapple on a pizza.
At least he is calling out Mike Johnson and showing up to work. If he wants to show he wants a bi-partisan conversation, he should stand on the steps on Congress with a Democrat with a proposal. Any proposal. It could be a bi-partisan affirmation that pineapple on a pizza is wrong.
For consumers to pay for AI produced goods, they will need a universal basic income paid from the dividend/profits generated by a company replacing the workforce with AI. Name one politician outside of Sanders, Warren, and AOC who would vote for this.
Just because his logic that "the cost of goods will become close to free" doesn't mean companies will not charge perceived market prices for them. If you don't have a job, how to you pay for "close to free" goods and services?
This is a lie. "If" AI replaces workers or makes them more efficient, does anyone really expect companies to pay people the same to have more time off? No. They will fire people and keep the profit. The objective of a company is to maximize profit, not improve the quality of life for workers.

Well, the "New Jersery" Democrats are just the evil mirror-universe versions of the loving New Jersey Democrats. They are easy to pick out as they all have goatees.

Thank you, @politicsgirl.bsky.social , for sharing your story. You’re right—there are millions like you.

Our new premium is over $3K/month for a family of three. Could we scrape it together? Maybe. Should we have to? No.
