One of these days I'd like to get back into it, maybe I will if I can buy a used ipad and a pencil for cheap because I don't wanna waste money on a sketchbook and some markers that'll ultimately be used on crap

The teacher *did* critique both the art itself and my methods, but always constructively, it never felt like she was pushing me down so much as saying "Hey you could speed up your work by doing this or you could improve this by using this technique"

I was never all that good at the art but the teacher didn't grade me based on quality, instead based on effort, and so I passed the class with flying colors and enjoyed the class, I would grab an ipad, listen to spotify, and scratch away with a dip pen on a project for a few weeks

One of my favorite classes in high school was art class

I took it my senior year because the school made us either do band or art, and the teacher knew the reason I took it my last year was because I either didn't want to or because I was afraid to (it was both)

I like chess but I don't really play it for two reasons, 1) being that most of the big name figures in chess are arrogant douchebags and 2) being that everytime I log in I'm afraid to get a spanking and lose imaginary points that tell me I'm not good enough
