I feel we're at the peak of peoples being completely incapable of forming their own opinions on things from their own thoughts, they just take bits of what they think is public opinion about something and smash it all together into something so incoherent it’s impossible to even discuss

Someone on twitter tried making to me the point that cutting grass with your sword in a video game is pointless but your character randomly putting their hand against walls just because you're near them is fun and a cool detail. Like genuinely how can you fault peoples for thinking the video game content was gonna be what it looks like. About 10% of the ppl who claim it was obviously not real believed that before toby clarified. The only thing resembling a hint was the logger dialogue
