It has always made me laugh that this is a horror collection that says "Happy Halloween" and "Boo" on their undies.

I relish the memory of a midnight showing in the 80s. Two men were getting annoyed, cussing at folks and then finally one jumped up and yelled, "Why the hell are you boys wearing your mamma's underwear?" The performers started singing at them, and they finally left.

Tim Curry has just published a memoir - Vagabond. The Guardian has an interview with him (link follows), and this bit about his mother stands out:
Curry processed his fear of his mother through his work: her expressions of rage manifested in Pennywise and Cardinal Richelieu in the Three Musketeers; as Dr Frank-N-Furter, he thought of her as he emerged from a refrigerator wielding the axe with which he’d just murdered Meat Loaf.

You're so determined to be smug, it hasn't occurred to you you're being unclear. The person I exchanged posts w/wanted to throw Loomer into prison for unspecified reasons just because she didn't like her. Your not particularly clever ref to pots & kettles makes no sense whatsoever in that context.

I'm better informed on Laura Loomer than you are. You said she needed to be jailed for treason but you can't cite any laws she's broken, so you're just another authoritarian wanna-be who wants to use the power of the state to hurt people you don't like.

Again, who is "she" - Loomer or MTG? And how is what you describe treason and/or worthy of jail?

Riddle me this. You have 5 guys with cat toys, a case of beer and too much time on their hands. What's the quickest way for them to get to Leavenworth?

Which one is "she" and what law(s) relating to treason has she violated?

I've got to start saving for some big projects so I allowed myself one last retail splurge before I go back to only used books again. I got my order this weekend, and this is part of it:

His US accent as the lawyer in the Bishop and the Warlord sketch was breathtakingly bad, especially compared to the judge, who sounded like a native American.

I believe that. The movie was all atmosphere and no jump scares as I recall. The scene with Dallas on the walkway, with everyone knowing it was coming up on him but not how it was doing so was wonderfully chilling.

I agree it's a spook film. I was ~10 when I saw most of it. The scene where Lambert was collecting gear to evacuate and you see the alien slowly come up on her scared me so badly I turned it off. I've refused to watch it since just in case its not really that scary; I dont want to be disappointed.

For the past hour an owl has been hooting. If there is any sound more pathetic and depressing than an owl at night, I do not want to hear it.

I only just saw this (notifications don't seem to be working well lately). The growth on her arm is disgusting, but what's with that flap on her leg?

ICE is basically Anthony, and we'll all be expected to be glad it's a good life we have.

Wow. Greg Bovino admits on camera that his agents can detain people if you look scared, change your demeanor, or grip a steering wheel too tight.

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that — even if you're a U.S. citizen.

If you could dream the way it went from a gift to a poet to being owned by a crimelord, that could be a heck of a story in itself.
