Reluctant to give Question Time any time - save for this:
Man with stubble, "Small boats arrivals are 37,000. There are over 4 million kids in child poverty. And 4.5 million who can't get a dentist appointment" #BBCQT

"We spend 90% of the media discourse on the 37,000. How much more could we achieve if we put that effort into the 4.5 million?"

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Excellent letter from the Bishop of Birmingham to Robert Jenrick.

At a time when so many other voices have been silent, the bishops have been admirably outspoken against attempts to stir up division.

The churches do a lot of community cohesion work & do not want to see this trashed for party gain.

Shows exactly the methods of Farage, Robinson, Jenrick etc and their cronies - whipping up fear of the unknown for their own political advantage - no more, no less.
Great Britain wastes £180,000 every hour switching off wind turbines and overpaying gas generators to switch on. That's £882,390,082 so far this year! wastedwind.energy

Here is an update on the RAAC crisis from the Labour government, who are continuing to repair and replace affected buildings.

52 schools are now RAAC free, as are 7 hospitals.

12 more hospitals will be RAAC free by March 2026 while 71 RAAC schools are in the process of being rebuilt.

Not defending Starmer ( although lots of good things done too but public don’t know about them) but Starmer has PM responsibilities and Polanski has nothing to lose ( and comms so far excellent - he’s also ex actor which helps)
Good point! Who’s going to do this..?
Anyone interviewed Laure Ferrari’s conveyancing solicitors (like they did with Rayner’s) to find out how she passed the Anti Money Laundering checks and proved the source of funds were hers? If Farage paid for it, he’d already declared himself the beneficial owner in the press - so an implied trust!
I think this is excellent..

This whole AR episode reinforces my view that part of the curriculum should be basic financial skills and information. Eg what is tax, credit, stamp duty, probate-role of the conveyancing solicitor and what they do. Most people will only deal with solicitors for house sales and purchases, wills etc
