Sheriff & Postmaster of Agnew, Nebraska. Also, just some career IT guy. Ecumenical, egalitarian, evangelical. Left-leaning USMC veteran. Find me riding around on a Honda motorcycle, or a Harley, depending on the day.

TFW you finally have the complete set of vintage Kenner Star Wars figures…
My wife has just discovered what slashfic is; Harry Potter slashfic specifically, and doesn’t seem to know whether to clutch her pearls or sign up for a DA account.
Oh, my Tubi queue is about to get stuffed.
What my son said when I gifted him with a vintage Kenner Star Wars Dewback and - unbeknownst to me - he already had one.
30-06 really seems to be making a comeback, doesn’t it?
The original art appears to be the character Hercules from Marvel comics, but photoshopped for the Soviet elements.
Canadians do not get enough credit for their contributions to American military infantry weapons; bladed ones in particular.
"Now watch this ballroom".
I'm also bringing along an 8 foot sharpened metal stake that I can hammer all the way down to and through the casket so he never crawls back out of it.
ROFL at this new MAGA spin on college radicalizing Tyler Robinson when my own brother, best friend, and my in-laws are all pro-Trump and mostly postgraduates. Yet here I am with nothing but my HS diploma and a DD214 from the f--king Marines, somehow more left leaning than all of them combined.
He looks like any other young white man in Utah perfectly capable of a 200 yard shot by virtue of learning to hunt with his dad.
The MAGA kid who shot at Trump couldn't make the shot at 150 meters with a red dot optic. The (presumed) leftie who shot Charlie Kirk did it at 200 meters, their rig as yet unknown.

I don't want to hear any right-winger say we don't know how to use firearms ever again.

"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the 2nd Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational."-Charlie Kirk in 2023, after 6 ppl (inc. 3 children) were shot & killed in a Nashville school
The only low point of the day was the old boomer bastard that I saw snatch up a dozen silver age Daredevil titles for one dollar apiece that I know he is going to try and flip in some antique mall booth. Can’t stop all the greedheads.
Store has been owned by the same family for three generations and this is an unparalleled gift to the local comic collectors community.
Oh I’m not done. Not pictured are complete runs of Marvel’s first Star Trek series and Battlestar Galactica. Plus Spider Woman 1-50.
Remember at the end of the Seinfeld Soup Nazi episode Newman is running towards the restaurant with a giant pot? That's been the scene at a local comic for three weekends in a row of “every comic is $1”. Complete runs of Who’s Who, Balder and a Silver Age Batman I know is worth $50 at least.
I read the book last year. Great stuff.
Shameless plug time. If you’re into pet reptiles at all (particularly varanids), please support my eldest son’s new online reptile shop (Did I mention that he just got engaged)? He has always had a passion for reptilia and has bred these babies with loving care. www.morphmarket.com/us/c/reptile...

Uh-uh. I was born in January 1970…close enough. Also (seriously) I’ve never seen The Goonies.
Tell me your recruiting ad for the New Mexico national guard was not made locally without telling me your recruiting ad more than New Mexico National Guard was not made locally.
Tl;dr - Mrs. ‘Dude injured her ankle hiking The Narrows trail at Zion National Park, a trail we’ve done previously more than once. Our remaining hiking plans have been canceled, to say the least, but the anniversary celebration is unabated.
