I think this speech needs sharing again.

Since the PM said this, there have been Tories who have come out & said the same as Reform: that they want to see people with a legal right to be in the UK get deported.

Call it out and stand up for these people - our friends, neighbours and key workers.
Change will always make things different, it’s normal.
I think dogma died in the 1990’s
I’m sure we’d be considered geniuses if we could understand why in a very mature democracy voters keep getting it wrong.

Zack Polanski is just the latest bright, shiny, happy-clappy bandwagon for the fickle minded, short attention span folk to jump on to get their quick fix. This phase will hopefully pass. Meanwhile, Labour is putting in the hard yards of getting things done in a steady, stealthy and responsible way.
I wish people would ask Polanski HOW he is going to do the things he shouts loud about.
He can’t cause he has no detailed plans for any of his ‘policies’
Dig deep to find what’s underneath the noise.
Won’t be much.

Obama: I believe in an America where we don't fear each other. But look out for each other. And if we want that story to continue. If we believe in that better story. We need leaders who believe in it too.
Getting on with competent government isn’t everyone’s cup of tea
Really, already 70% of manifesto pledges are going through parliament. Most people are better off, the NHS are better off, schools are better off, families are better off, pensioners are better off.
It’s much deeper than this. Whilst we need sensible, statesmanlike, hard-working, compassionate, competent, the general public have become obsessed by binary politics and soundbites delivered by celebrity politicians. This isn’t on Starmer.
