If they were going to implement a romance system in any future game, it'd be cool if they approached it like bg3, where things start more casual and then can become more serious or break off, and some characters are okay with you having other partners and some aren't.

All this to say, breaking with tradition and having zero patience for it is like. Aloy's whole thing. If you can't imagine a woman's love not derailing her life, maybe rethink some stuff.

What about the more casual encounters people tend to have when they're young? Flings? Stuff that was never meant to be long term? When I draw Aloy with somebody I don't mean to say "and then they were together forever." People act like gettin kissed is a marriage proposal

This drives me a little nuts - why do people think that Aloy making a romantic connection would mean suddenly having to fit her life to match their expectations? Pretty sure if you get with the savior of the whole fucking world, you're on her schedule, and you're grateful for it.
