Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

My favorite thing about this (and all "long ball bangers") is the wave of realization in the crowd as the ball sails through the air. It's different than most other strikes - it always leans towards wonder and disbelief long before any excitement can be heard.

I was deathly afraid of that VHS box art as a young child - and yet, always intrigued. I waited until my late 20s before I actually watched it and by that time nothing could hold a candle to why my imagination created.

Chicagoland is a friendly, safe, vibrant, & fun place. I’m very happy my kids have grown up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of the city, & in Evanston. They’re both wonderful places.

But ICE is attacking us. People are doing everything possible to protect their neighbors. But it’s hard.

I love the strat neck pickup tones (and the variability afforded the 3 pickup, 5-way selector). The G&L has the MFD pickups which have a bit more clarity than Standard tele but still read tele, scratch my johnny greenwood/Jeff Buckley itch (and humbuck in middle position) - just need hours of
