#NowPlaying A little late-night listening from Steely Dan, and "Pretzel Logic". "Rikki don't lose that number" got the radio plays; the wonderfully acerbic "Barrytown" and the perfect short story "With a Gun" are my personal favourites.

Dinner tonight : chicken aleesa. Basically a porridge of bulgur wheat and shredded chicken; flavored with cloves, star anise, cardamom and cinnamon; dressed with onions and pine nuts. I added a few fresh red chilis on top as well.

It’ll make lunch for tomorrow as well!
