A more subtle piece, this one came out much more "muddy" than I usually prefer, but in this case, I decided to let is build up out of the gray.

The Paint Series works are so much more hit-and-miss because I'm not intentionally choosing layers, but working just with what's there.

Sometimes my Paint Series art come out more like an actual #mandala than others, but it always pleases me that it's never intentional. This one has real I SEE YOU energy, which kinda undoes the peaceful feeling, but still feels otherworldly.

Shockingly, this is CMYK friendly.

I'm still not sure if it's completely successful, but there are parts I definitely like. A fitting color scheme on a gray day "full of woe." Or even an evil peacock.

Paint Series Wednesday is upon us, and this is one of my favorites from the whole bunch.

As I got more experimental with my colors, and took advantage of some more organic base images, the result leaned toward the trippy blacklight posters from the headshops of my youth.
