I presume they'll get traveling to my sister's for Thanksgiving figured out, and then I can spend a few hours moving around the house a bit, packing things up and taking an inventory of what I can sell.

It's fully legitimate to see my recent behavior as acting out for attention, and I'd even offer, I may have reached some kind of logical limit. I looked skeletal. I was barely eating. My personality rapidly changed, I started acting paranoid, and announced I'd had a religious experience.

All my recent dramas have arisen from me trying to calmly and diplomatically negotiate issues I have with other people's behavior, specifically how they treat me, and in each case, I've been informed there is no hill too small to die on, and furthermore, I'm never forgiven for airing my grievances.

I suspect that older generations don't perceive how money is a leash. It is simply a fact of life, no different than gravity or rain. They forget that it's a human invention used for human purposes, and that it may be altered or superseded.
