Oooh the FMA poster is a cruel cruel callback if what I think is happening here is happening 😂
Skinwalkers and Aliens may be one and the same, and based on the address in Widow and Dance combined with the head scar in Widow, Spider women might be the same thing too. I think it's likely they're involved with most storylines in some fashion, a gradual invasion.
Edit to say: I don't think the guy in the 3rd panel is the Chief, just one of his men, since it doesn't seem to specify that the Chief also went on this hunt.
I do still think the Chief is likely the man in the other bed at the end of Snore.
Presumably the Chief survives this encounter.
I don't know if I think The Carrions are responsible for Snore. They seem to have a specific thing going with the not-Human-Centipede thing. I would agree though that it's likely Bryce is the Chief's son, it was my first instinct.
Not sure if Bryce is his son, or just a case he's investigating, but I think Mr Carrion is the perpetrator in both cases. I reckon either Mrs Ruiz got used as parts in 5 different creations, or we have multiple Skin walkers using her image in the last panel.
Do we think the chief (presumably the man in the 3rd panel) and the sleep apnea guy from Snore are one and the same possibly?
The postage stamp with the ostrich on it also says "Emberi" on it.
I'm sure if you drew some lines connecting the five locations you could make the symbol for summoning the old ones too.
Oh wow, that's so cool! I hadn't heard of this phenomenon before, nature is so crazy.
Oooh, I'm so jealous, that must have been so incredible to see yourself!
Interesting then that Joshua the boy from Cave has a "birthmark" on his forehead.
Also, there's a mark on the girl's forehead after she finds the meteor. Could this be linked to the scar on the top of the head from Widow?
Possibly a date for this one. I was curious about the two suns in the sky at once and there was a phenomenon documented in 1104, in England, where it appeared as if there were two suns, apparently called a sundog.
Not the only documented occurrence of the phenomenon but one of the earliest known.
She's the one who found the meteor, so my guess is she's possessed or been replaced Skin walker style by whatever creature arrived on it. So she's having a good time while everyone else is finding it a smidge rough lol
The woodcut styling makes me personally think historical, rather than just rural, but it's definitely a valid point. Reminds me of some of Becks' dark fairytale stuff.
Very Wickerman.
How many times have these meteors rained down I wonder? There was one scribbled in the window in Doggy Door, and looks like there's due to be another one in 22-Lucky based on the newspaper.
I wear glasses so I could also just be not seeing stuff because of that.
This was exactly the scene I had in my head 😂
It's hard to find the balance between what's an intentional hidden clue/scare and what is just all of us turning into red string and pushpin lunatics 😂
I don't see a creature as such, but there does seem to be some kind of shape(s) in the static behind the wing mirror and to the right of it. I've played with the settings in another app but don't see anything clearer than that. It could just be an effect of the static textures interacting?
I was wondering what that bar in the foreground is! A stop sign makes perfect sense, god I love these comics.
I can't help feeling like there's _something_ hidden in the shadows in the back of the second car, but I cannot for the life of me make out what it is...
