Taxpayer funded civilian Dept of Defense employees & their families have gotten them for decades.

She hyperventilated about losing democracy then wrote a book b/w fundraisers days after she lost.

There was plenty of time and majorities over the past decades to overhaul healthcare & provide a public option so that taxpayers can get what civilian Dept of Defense employees & their families get.

Sustaining a for-profit system with subsidies that enrich insurers who donate isn't the answer.

It's 2025. There was time to overhaul healthcare decades ago before MAGA partisanship when there were D majorities. It's not just GOP. Dems are still celebrating 30 years of unpaid family leave.

Sure, except that Dems scrubbed "universal healthcare" & "public option" from their '24 platform in exchange for "access" to (unaffordable) private for-profit health insurance.
The subsidies funnel taxpayer $ straight to execs & shareholders (donors).

Public option is the best alternative.

Pat Ryan opposes universal healthcare, public option, free childcare, congestion pricing and most programs that benefit the working class.

Kingston NY forbids bikes on sidewalks when there are no shoulders or bike lanes on streets but the storm grates are wider than bike tires. The sidewalk isn’t passable (or ADA compliant anyway). Bike lanes end tantalizingly close to rail trails. Fealty to cars & contempt for everyone else.

The No Kings protest is pointless. US willingly elected a king & the political system is designed for minority rule.
It’s better to make a coherent demand (end mass firings, subsidize healthcare) & paralyze the economy until concessions are made.

A very large portion of US farmers who claim to be patriots grow animal feed for Chinese pigs instead of feeding their own people while destroying farmland for future generations. They’re a liability, not a benefit.
