It is difficult to support a 2 state solution while also supporting unconditional military aid (weapons) that slaughter civilians and being indifferent to bombings & withholding aid.

Remember Biden’s Rafah red line?

It’s not just her. Dems still plead fealty to AIPAC & Israel.

Basic work/life benefits such as healthcare, childcare, paid vacation, school meals aren't radical left policies.

Taxpayer funded civilian Dept of Defense employees & their families have gotten them for decades.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Tough shit soldier. 64% of veterans voted for MAGA policies.

Military families are overwhelmingly MAGA and getting their just foodbank desserts.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Running for POTUS, she was indifferent to the deaths in Gaza and did nothing to distance herself from Biden's full support of Netanyahu or offer an alternative.

She hyperventilated about losing democracy then wrote a book b/w fundraisers days after she lost.

I voted for her so i can criticize.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
as well as bigotry, greed and contempt for neighbors & their kids.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
There was plenty of time and majorities over the past decades to overhaul healthcare & provide a public option so that taxpayers can get what civilian Dept of Defense employees & their families get.

Sustaining a for-profit system with subsidies that enrich insurers who donate isn't the answer.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
A public option is not M4A.
It's 2025. There was time to overhaul healthcare decades ago before MAGA partisanship when there were D majorities. It's not just GOP. Dems are still celebrating 30 years of unpaid family leave.

What's the Dem answer to why 80M can't afford health insurance?
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Bill Kristol's political legacy is being virulently opposed to expanding healthcare.

The Bulwark wants Ronald Reagan 2.0.
The Bulwark does not want to expand healthcare or make it more affordable.

They're anti-Trump but bedrock GOP conservative.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Sure, except that Dems scrubbed "universal healthcare" & "public option" from their '24 platform in exchange for "access" to (unaffordable) private for-profit health insurance.
The subsidies funnel taxpayer $ straight to execs & shareholders (donors).

Public option is the best alternative.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Every single Bulwark member opposes universal healthcare and public options. Don't forget that they're bedrock conservative. They just don't like Trump.

Bill Kristol's political legacy is opposing Clinton's healthcare expansion 30 years ago.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
So the party that scrubbed “public option” from their 2024 platform is still whining and calling for things that will never, ever happen.

And there’s your Dem leadership folks.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Remind me who’s wearing masks?
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
64% of those veterans enthusiastically voted for those tax credits to expire and the entire MAGA fixed-price menu.

Knowing that veterans also want me to lose my healthcare generates absolutely no sympathy.

Those were the stakes. Womp, womp.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Sure, but the videos of Olympic cocaine snorting are worth some medical textbook oopsies.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
The party exists to sustain mediocrity for fundraising purposes.

Angry voters donate, big donors are satisfied that their taxes won't go up.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Pat Ryan opposes universal healthcare, public option, free childcare, congestion pricing and most programs that benefit the working class.

He doesn't want taxpayers to get the same work/life benefits that civilian DoD employees & their families get b/c he thinks it will hurt recruitment.

It would be very helpful for the Indivisible accounts to post flyers of the area protests with date, time and exact locations every single day. People shouldn’t have to figure out when & where.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Kingston NY forbids bikes on sidewalks when there are no shoulders or bike lanes on streets but the storm grates are wider than bike tires. The sidewalk isn’t passable (or ADA compliant anyway). Bike lanes end tantalizingly close to rail trails. Fealty to cars & contempt for everyone else.

En 2025, le pays le plus puissant & riche n’assure toujours pas le congé payé, assurance maladie, congé maternité, crèches ou cantines.

Ils ont fermé le gouvernement pour débattre le mérite d’un public avec une assurance médicale garantie.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Honestly, fuck those people.
Negotiate to extend the subsidies in states that Trump lost.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
The No Kings protest is pointless. US willingly elected a king & the political system is designed for minority rule.
It’s better to make a coherent demand (end mass firings, subsidize healthcare) & paralyze the economy until concessions are made.
Follow the French (who liberated us from a king).
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
The prevalence of drive-throughs and dearth of basic work/life benefits show just how lazy American are. They’ve (minorities notwithstanding) never fought for anything in their precious lives and it shows.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
Just like medical professionals who tolerate a broken healthcare system, they have agency and the ability to change the system but don’t They can demand that subsidies go to growing food to supply schools and institutions instead of pig feed.

There’s a market for domestic produce in the US
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
A very large portion of US farmers who claim to be patriots grow animal feed for Chinese pigs instead of feeding their own people while destroying farmland for future generations. They’re a liability, not a benefit.
poivrotfarci.bsky.social
And we’d all have healthcare and paid vacation.
