I was previously a teacher, so perhaps I'd still be doing that, but I'm pleased I'm not.
Sometimes I'm tempted to retrain as a midwife, but would never actually do it. The pay would be similar (aside from the three years training) but I think I like not working shifts too much.

I have the words muted but it pops up everywhere. Reels on Facebook which I try to avoid, people talking about it at work. Tempted to let him stay up and watch it live with us this week but absolutely can't do that once he's back at school 😭

My husband, who never takes to these programmes usually, keeps saying 'This is the BEST TV I've seen for years!' and has suggested we catch up on all previous series and the Australian ones too 🤣

Somehow, from never watching an episode a week ago, we're now caught fully up with Celebrity Traitors and incredibly invested, but unfortunately couldn't possibly watch it without 9yo who adores it, so I'm settling myself to a life of catching up a day or two later and having it spoiled each time 😭

3yo has started asking to visit Australia, after seeing a YouTube video.
Me: '3yo, it's the other side of the world. A whole day on an aeroplane. You don't like 15 minutes in the car.'
3yo, very earnestly: 'I be very good! I just take lots of things to play with.'

My eldest is 9 and a confident and keen reader but we still read to him. He loves it. We read books with plots he'd otherwise struggle with, with sensitive issues (he doesn't like anything upsetting), with complex characters we can discuss and decode. It's my favourite part of both of our days ❤️

One of the bunnies staying with us needs daily injections and twice daily medication.
The medication is nothing we haven't dealt with in 16 years of bunny ownership, but the injections! Good Lord. Up until that experience I think he was beginning to trust me. Not any more 😭
