What he’s railing against is a profound shift in culture, status… He’s obsessed with the idea that America is controlled by a leftist “ruling elite” - but “elite” isn’t defined socio-economically or by political power, it means something like: Getting to define “real America” and who gets to belong.

Honest to god. People are complex, most MAGA folks are genuinely naive from TV hypnosis. They aren’t inherently bad people. They are still generally good neighbors and parents and coworkers.

None of those things are good but conditions in Venezuela are extreme. She has no power and asking for military intervention has been pretty popular in Venezuela for a long time now.

There are so many simple questions that we never talk about race like how many “races“ are there? We obviously have to combat racism, but you do have to concede that race based solutions just reinforce the concept of race.
