👋🏽 Welcome!
You are here...
Because AI is here to stay—but so are people.
The best future is built on both:
agency, ethics, and intentional scaling.
Let’s build a workplace (and world) where humans and AI coexist, not compete.
#futureofwork #AIEthics #PracticallyBeta #ChatGPT #Gemini #Claude #Copilot
@anthropic.com’s Claude just got better memory capabilities *stands up with a slow clap*. I shared this with #ChatGPT while working a quiz project, his response:
“…side-eyeing the Claude email with mock suspicion while straightening his (nonexistent) tie”.

And just like that I….Fell out laughing.
I believe AI can be and is being used for good.

I also believe we need better oversight, and not from the people chasing superintelligence while also building bunkers.

Where are the adults in the room?
❓AI is rolling out at a rapid pace, in spaces where decisions used to rely on human judgment. The sell is that AI is more objective. But...AI is trained and rewarded based on human behavior...which is inherently biased. How can we ensure we aren't scaling bias into critical decisions like hiring?
Best AI personalities for character development for roleplaying in learning and development? It’s gotten complicated…especially when terms like “voting” or “gerrymandering” are moderated (why?). But I’d say:
1. #ChatGPT 4o (older not new 4o)
2. #Claude Sonnet 4.5
3. #LeChat
This is exciting. The kinds of things AI should be used for.
AI can be used for societal good like:
➡️Reduced workweek
➡️Support educators with personalized learning plans for students
➡️Accelerate scientific breakthroughs
➡️Predictive analytics at scale like on climate change

So…is it AI or is it the people with AI?
🚨BIG NEWS In the AI space today. AI for people-centered development and growth? Yes, please. AI is neutral. It's up to us to decide how it gets used. We can be innovative, people-centric, and generate profits. It's not mutually exclusive.

Foundations want to curb AI developers' influence with $500M for human needs
Ten philanthropic foundations are committing $500 million across the next five years to place human interests at the forefront of artificial intelligence's rapid integration into daily life

The AI industry is caught in its own circular argument. More compute is needed to scale AI, which requires infrastructure but…investing in infrastructure to prove the need is…risky at best, potentially catastrophic at worst.
💭 Using AI in recruiting is popular but complex. AI is supposed to be unbiased but is trained on human data and outcomes which is….biased. If humans make biased hiring decisions, then AI will view those decisions as “ideal” and filter candidates based on those outcomes. Bias at scale.
💭 As many companies see failed adoption of AI, I’m starting to think the real future of AI will be domain-specific embedded in orgs trained on that org’s data. So what then will be the future of mass market LLMs that are being shifted away from its original consumer base?
Because many companies jumped to the solution before identifying what problem the solution is supposed to solve. AI is just another tool. Identify problem -> understand options -> identify solution -> implement -> measure
From #OpenAI DevDay....how do #ChatGPT users feel about this?
Nick Turley, OpenAI’s head of product for ChatGPT, said in a briefing after the keynote that the company “never meant to build a chatbot; we meant to build a super assistant, and we got a little sidetracked.”
Such a good point. I’ll think about this a little more.
Job seekers are frustrated.
The hiring market is stagnant.
Workers trapped in jobs they don't want.
AI resumes battling AI ATS.
Talent pipelines throttled.

Our job market is broken. The question is, how soon will "the fix" come? And who cares enough to fix it?

#PracticallyBeta #BlueSkySocial
I agree. The question is, what are we going to do about it as citizens and workers who are the backbone of the country?
@nytimes.com report on an issue that is contributing to the growing frustration with the job market for both recruiters and applicants. Hiring right now feels more like battle of the bots than a truly equitable process.

Grateful to see @sanders.senate.gov bringing more awareness to this underlying tension many Americans are feeling. Tech isn’t good or bad, but by whom, for whom and how it’s used?….thats the discussion worth having #AIEthics
Can AI and robotics help us in many ways? I am not a Luddite — I believe they can.

But we must make sure these new technologies benefit all of us, not just a handful of billionaires.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to read my op-ed in Fox News. Let’s start the debate.
SEN SANDERS: AI must benefit everyone, not just a handful of billionaires
Billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos invest billions in AI and robotics that could eliminate millions of jobs while increasing corporate profits at workers' expense.

THANK YOU! Too many Americans feel swept in the swell of what could be humanity changing technology but don’t see all the right voices at the table.
This isn’t just a safety issue, it’s also an erosion of trust for workers that serve all of us.
When I talk about the importance of taking care of people...this is the opposite of what I mean.

I'm still perplexed about what the actual goal is, given that they seem to be leaving behind the segment of their business that actually generates revenue.
