Yeah. Pretty much said this was going to happen. They shut down the government, Trump is now taking over appropriations. We're nearing a point he doesn't even need to bring Congress back for anything other than show.

I learned a long time ago music tastes are subjective and not to fuck with people's music (I like some of Swift's stuff). Except for pink pony Club, I hate that song, I don't even care who did it. It ranks among the top five worst earworm songs in all of human history lol I will die on that hill.

He's doing exactly what I said he was going to do, turn Congress into a vestigial arm of govt with no real purpose. He's gotten all the way to appropriating money. If Congress doesn't make the laws, they don't hold anyone accountable, and they don't make appropriations, why do we have them anymore?

Watching Trump erode the role of Congress on a daily basis at this point and Republicans not saying a damn word... This is how countries fall into dictatorship. One party abdicating all its responsibility to freedom, democracy, and the people. That's what Republicans are doing right now.

I have no problem with them feeling proud If they feel they are contributing to the betterment of a city. They didn't ransack it, they didn't kidnap people off the streets, they didn't pepper ball or mace people, so I'm happy to let them have that.
