No. I think people are actually that stupid.

I am not a foreign policy expert, but maybe trade, tax, and tariffs policies should not be dictated by whether the President’s feelings get hurt.

I don’t accept it as inevitable either. But I think we are lying to ourselves if we say that this can be resolved by voting. So every time I hear people talking about democrats taking back the house, I just don’t see it.

I don’t believe that peaceful revolution is possible any more.

Do we really think Democrats will take the House next year? I think they have the support, but I think a certain fascist dick and his enablers will declare a state of national emergency and use this as a pretext to suspend elections next year.

Unfortunately, this is the only future I can envision

Yah. I think you missed the entire fucking point of this discussion.

The point here is that some US citizens don’t have the same rights as in other states. And moving is not feasible. The issue goes so much deeper than geography. That is the point being made here.
