There are two excellent XTC comps , the first one was absolutely essential in 1985 but it has been rightly , due to a good few subsequent classics , superseded by Fossil Fuel , one of the greatest ever , by anyone .
Strangely , NEITHER have been issued on vinyl ….

Richard Hawley and his amazing band performing Coles Corner on Weston Super Mare’s Grand Pier last night.

From the opening note of the string section on the album’s title track, I may have had some grit in my eyes.

1992 was the year for this one , a fine selection indeed . Close inspection reveals no less than 5 picks from the 6 track “ Texas Fever” EP/Mini LP , the quality was high for that gem .
Yet again : never available on LP 😢
