I want to write up a small thread on improvement, some flaws in understanding the game, and what top players are good at (so #compsplatoon )
The main thing I want to get across in this thread is practicality and simplicity, the easier something is the faster it is, and faster is usually better.

Like heres an attack where you have to burn shade dash or DD plz dont spam it.
Finally the bosses are also just so much better, I had gripes with a good half of HKs boss designs esp the dream warriors but the silksong ones even from the very start of the game feel VERY fleshed out its just all great

PV for example is one of my favorite fights and a community favorite but I also hated how much of the fight was either just jumping or dashing for i frames. (I also rly like that silksong from what ive seen got rid of i frame stuff bc the design around that from a boss pov was just bad)

I think its more avoiding attacks in silksong just feels better. HK has a lot of wailing on bosses because the tools just don't feel as strong. Silksong your faster, parrying is stronger, the tool system demolishes charms, etc. I feel like you can have way more answers to the same problem.

I think the biggest improvement from HK to Silksong is Silksong makes you feel like your way better at the game.

This is such an unapologetically cringe thing to say but if you really like Splatoon OCs/your inksona etc. watching the #S3NAL weekly episodes really feels like they are narrating it in a way that feels in-universe. Like you're watching this from the perspective of an inkfish.

- Milky Way had an astounding 10.35 Splats/Assists per Minute. The next highest was 9.65!
⁃ Hypernova led the way with 1203.4 Turf per Minute, even higher than their Preseason average! (1195.6)

SOLO SUPERSTARS
⁃ SSNolan (.96 Gal Deco, Moonlight) had the highest single-game Splat /Assist total with 27 (vs fofofo, Clam Blitz on Inkblot Art Academy)
- Capt.Happy (Snipewriter 5H & N-Zap '85, Hypernova) had the highest Splat Participation score, with contributions to 35.5% of the team's Splats.

MISCELLANEOUS
- There were 14 non-DC-related KO's in Week 1. (8 SZ, 4 RM, 2 TC, 0 CB)
⁃ The 3 most-played weapons were Slosher (46 picks), .52 Gal (42), and Snipewriter 5H (41)

Nah I liked that runback. The cocoon spawning preventing you from changing your path is my biggest dislike rn I think it messes too much with changing your path to get through more difficult parts or explore.

Finished act 1 of silksong in about 10 hours, very fun so far with a lot of improvements but the combat has to be the main one the options and pacing feels improved and overall boss quality jumped a ton so far. Really only had 1 negative experience so far and the extra challenge has felt fair so far

Something else I want to see is our Players especially our High Level Players send Replay Codes to Rusu or other Top JP Players that offer Coaching like this
