I have now nearly 10 hours in Absolum, meaning, it is really good. Maybe it sounds weird, but I am kinda happy and sad this is a game and not a book. I wish it was both I guess is what I am saying.

Imagine if they never removed the original D2 campaign and you could still import your D1 character. Imagine you could play through both games with the same character back to back again.

I can only imagine how amazing it must have felt to work on this movie. Being part of such a creative effort for smth that still stands test the time and looks so gorgeous.

Aaron crouched in the bushes at the edge of the forest line. Behind him was his brother, too, sitting in the bushes. Well half his body was sticking out because of his size, but it didn’t matter, they were far enough from the city and even further from the army besieging it. That said, Aaron probably didn’t even need to crouch, his head wouldn’t even stick out of the bush then.
The encampment was crawling up the side of a hill with a huge tent at the top of it. At the foot many siege machines rowed in line. Every now and then one of the trebuchets would send a big boulder flying towards the walls and towers of the city, reminding the citizens of the army’s presence outside. It looked like everyone was posed for a long siege. Weeks, possible months.
“Lucky we are”, said Aaron smirking. This was perfect. The haul they made was comparatively small, laughable even. Camping supplies, kitchen ware, ordinary things. Under normal circumstances worth a pittance of coin. But in a siege, where people might run low on most things ordinary and wanting to be prepared by hoarding even the mundane stuff, they could ask a lot of money for this.
It was already late, the sun was setting, turning most of the sky red. Behind the encampment though deep black clouds gathered and slowly crept towards the scene. Couldn’t be the night, the sun sank behind the hill, so it must be rain, probably a storm, lightning and thunder even. And as if to acknowledge these thoughts the wind started to pick up, rustling the tree crowns and howling over the fields between them and the city walls.
