Currently checking if I can replay The Witcher 3 or if I have grown out of it so to say, and currently I probably have to say I did grow out of it. I dunno, the combat feels bad, so many bugs (still lmao) and small stuff like every NPC repeating the same kine when walking past them.

Always like it when games have a certain mechanic feel to their interactions. For example H.O.B. had that a lot where buttons, levers and co move whole parts of the world around. The psy-powers in Metroid Prime 4 do the same for me. Moving the little things around to activate machinery feels great.

Metroid Prime 4 on Switch1 also runs well in handheld mode. Though due to me using offbrand joycons for better ergonomics I sadly loose out on the hd rumble then.

big change to the combat flow: YOU can also get disarmed
even if you deflect perfectly, once your posture maxes out it'll disarm you and you'll be in unarmed mode. you have to decide whether to run for your sword or keep up the pressure, but keep in mind you'll need your sword for certain counters

I kinda want a Norse themed action (rpg) made by a Japanese developer. I just randomly had that thought and think that would be kinda cool. Western style games made by Japanese devs often have a certain unbeatable charm to it (vice versa too btw).

So far I am enjoying it a lot. Dunno how much I played, probably like 2h looking at when I posted this. Feels very smooth and is very pretty on the Switch. I also don‘t mind the NPCs and the so called „Marvel humour“ guy. The key factor for me will be the backtracking and how good/bad it is handled.
