“DR will have seven seasons to focus on each source!” but it won’t. DRS2 has each part focus on strength and motion, and how they oppose each other and what they have to offer. S1 doesn’t really do this, so we’re more likely to get 5 seasons, with one part for each source (with S3P1 being abt chaos)

I think you’re completely misunderstanding what Toasted is saying. The elemental mechs, shatterspin, and the Wyfy shorts were also optional, but they do have an impact on the story of the show and matter to an extent within the mainline story
