It’s mostly happening offline. Just a lot of feelings of worthlessness, impostor syndrome and burnout creating a pretty bad headspace. I just suspended my account for a bit without notice. I struggle oftentimes with deleting this account when I get like this.

Having meltdowns is fun. I'm going to take a break from social media and try to stick with it. The Skinner box of likes and comments has made me feel incredibly valueless, and rather than constantly exploding publically, I'm just gonna tone it down. Thanks to everyone who reached out.

I mean. I love sharing it, but I feel most people follow me for very specific reasons. It’s not a bad thing if they do, just, you know, they aren’t getting a lot out of some of this stuff :p

Art is really powerful, but there’s something specific about how music hits me in a way other media doesn’t. The way our brains make those personal associations is almost magical.

I’m still early into Yooka-Replaylee but…

They did it!

Immediately - controls better, looks better, sounds better, paced SO MUCH better, and funnier. And I say this as someone who still does not like the original Yooka-Laylee. But Replaylee so far is good, maybe even great!

I’m all over the place with my music, But when I was a lot younger I listened to a lot of mellow stuff, and a lot of that stuff still resonates with me a great deal. I don’t get the impression my friends really care too much about that kind of thing, but i still think it’s an art-form worth sharing.

I got it working! My bios wasn’t turning secure boot off, been pretty smooth sailing so far. We’ll see when I try installing CSP.
