Born in 1815, Ada Lovelace was a mathematician and produced what is widely considered the world’s first computer program. In 1843, she wrote the first algorithm for Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine. We draw inspiration from Lovelace’s ability to imagine the unseen. #AdaLovelaceDay #WomenInSTEM

Our foster kitten Dot has been adopted!

She was the smallest one of the litter, but the first to take steps and to get out of the basket they were in the first few weeks. It is fitting that she is also the first to leave the family.

Her new family already sent videos of her playing.

It is getting serious. Tomorrow one of our foster kittens Dot is leaving to be with her forever family. This is the hard part of fostering, so I'm taking the day off.

Hope she will be very happy.

The other kittens (and mom) still needs families.

How it feels living in a small village in Denmark in 2025.

We have to fight for everything. Not to get anything new, but to keep what we have. Our local library is closing. They have tried closing everything else around us that is related to public services.

I don't want to move to a city. #dkpol

Our small village has 1400 people. Our local history society has nearly 1000 Facebook followers. In an age where attention is priceless, that means a lot.

That we might have to close the archive, because of local politics is another matter. I'm not thinking about that today.
