Nice to see this place getting lively! I reintroduction might be in order.

Thank fuck World FantasyCon is in Brighton. I can fly directly to Gatwick and then take the train. Provided I won't get lost at Gatwick (never used that airport before). Then again, I could do without flying (especially as Wizzair fucked up their entire schedule and I'm forced to fly at 6:45 😭)

There are a few things I hate more than shopping for winter coats. Then again, finding anything in my size is a challenge at the best of times. But coats are the evil of all clothes. Even if I find something I can pretend to like and isn't outrageously big, then it still costs to get fitted.

I don't know what's with me and glasses these days. On Friday, I lost my sunglasses (thankfully, it was found). Today I left BOTH of my regular glasses at home and had to go pick them up so I can actually work 😅 Good thing I live so close to my workplace...

If I remember correctly, book 2 was supposed to be book 1 (but Mike might contradict me). Anyway. I wasn't as much into book 2 myself but I'm planning to read the whole series one of these days. Maybe next year.

I didn't have the best of nights and as a result 1) I'm tired/grumpy, 2) have a raging headache. Going zo be a fun day. But far the weirdest bit was the dream in which I found out @benedictpaddy.bsky.social is my dad. Like... HOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE, BRAIN?! 🤣🤣

So I headed out and decided to go back to the shopping center on my way home. Thankfully, the first store I asked (it was the second I went to yesterday) had it. I'm fucking relieved. I'm reluctant to let them go because 1) expensive and 2) I won't have these super cool purple lenses anymore. 3/3

Thought I've packed it away. I forgot all about it. Today I was heading out and couldn't find my sunglasses. I realised I lost it somewhere. I got nervous. They are prescription sunglasses and weren't cheap, tho I need new ones but wasn't planning on it until next year because finances this year. 2/

Story time. Yesterday I went to a shopping center after work. As usual, I put my sunglasses into my jacket pocket, thinking I'll put away properly later. I did my shopping. I looked into my pocket on the way home but couldn't find it. Thought nothing of it. I locked my stuff in one of the stores. 1/

I was just sent the final audio for Firebreak to review, so if you were wondering how fast book two is coming to audio...pretty fast. Book three will take longer since it isn't actually out yet, just waiting for my editor to work his magic.
