Many moons ago, I did an SPN/Bladerunner mash-up as an homage to the amazing movie posters of Drew Struzan. The only thing I have remaining is this small image. Struzan was such an influence on me growing up. He brought the movies to life. You will be missed, sir.

I honestly think Game of Thrones was good for the culture because it got people to watch something that featured content they didn't actually approve of and it increasingly feels like people don't know how to do that anymore.

Yeah, it blows. BUT! These could easily be painted digitally, and I know of a few alt poster companies that do some amazing work on various cinema releases, almost as fan art. More like variant marketing. Pop culture goodness! So here's hoping that that sticks around and grows!
